I put a nice doe down Monday morning about 7:30. I also saw 3 small bucks and probably 10 or 12 other does. They were really on the move. It was also the first frost in our area.

Congrats. Still way to many leaves on the trees in my area. Plus I really dont start hunting until november since I dont have much time with two little kids. That means I need to choose my hunting time wisely.

congrats
I would think after the storm here over the weekend, Monday was a good day to be out, as I bet a lot of critters sat out the storm and stayed pretty much in a small area
I know Saturday and Sunday we had Nasty crazy wild winds here, which I always think makes most wildlife nervous, NOT being able to hear and smell as normal!
so after 2 days of that, some better weather should have had them on there feet and feeding to make up for lost time LOl
Congrats MOTF! Where's the pic? Sounds like you have a nice honey hole, lol!

I think it always boosts confidence up when we see some nice back straps in the freezer early!
