    ok here is a try
    this is a pic of a very large make black bear, was tagging last yr in late spring at just under 600 lbs
    making it an honest 700+ lb bear by fall


    Last pic is of him and a female he was courting for about 3+ weeks, I seen him dogging her here
    she is a BIG female too, all of 300+ lbs, she had 3 cubs last yr, and then ran them off this mating season!

    SO far this yr I have seen 12 different bears here, a second male over 600 lbs and the rest have been much smaller in the 250-350 lb range

    no problem, LOT"S of bears here this yr
    if anyone is looking to bear hunt PA< this yr will be a boomer, everyone I know is seeing a LOT all over the state, and many are just HUGE
    I don't hunt them anymore
    but do enjoy seeing them
