well right across teh border in PA< we have a LOT of bears in PA< so, only a matter of time I figured till they make there way to ohio!
a bear can smel food from like 13 miles away
they can swim like a fish, and the average bear has a 20+ mile home range
    so??
no suprise to me to see them in Ohio

I would, if it was me
Contact your local game warden, and have a chat, they might be very interested in learning more about where your at/the bears are at
as they really might want to trap it and collar it, or tag it to keep tabs on where its at and going
might a cool deal for you, as you might be able to tag along as they tag it
I've helped tag a bunch over the yrs, and found it all pretty cool work
I have a ton of experience with bears, have them in my yard a few times a week, almost daily now with the apples dropping!
if you put out bait like corn, odds are the deer will not get much of it, if a bear is there, he or she will lay there and eat till it cannot fit anymroe, and then go a short distance and sleep and come back till its gone
and they can eat 30 lbs in a sitting!
mght want to stop any baiting till it moves on or??

but cool pic's thanks for sharing!

Already sent pics and location to the ODNR. They estimated the Ohio bear population to be 80-100 bears in 2013. Hunting a new location this year...camera up for one week with no bait. Thx, KB
