    New to the site.

New to the site. Thank you for hosting it. I have seen a lot of great info on here. I've been bow hunting since I was 6. My dad made me a hickory long bow and had some old XX75's cut down and re-fletched. I remember shooting at the rabbits and my grandparents in the winter. as I got older and bigger I got a compound and worked my way through current technology. I still have a few compounds including my dad's old Martin Cougar II. He shot a lot of 3D tournaments in the 80's with that bow and it still shoots smoother than most bows I've shot recently. I just started to build a few traditional longbows and spend most of my time playing with those. My oldest two daughters (4 & 6) have their own bows and love to shoot as well. hoping to get a deer with a bow I made. That would be the ultimate high for me!
