Congrats on the kill.. Looks like the new broadhead did it's job good.
Finally put a doe down with my bow. I put the arrow through the shoulder and it came out through the ribs. It was a good lung shot and she crashed about 60 yards away. Good blood trail. My arrow broke about two thirds back and the broadhead and two thirds of the arrow were laying on the ground where I shot her and the rest was sticking out the exit hole. Here are some pics.
The last one is the exit wound.

thanks for posting the pics been waiting for you to put one down looks like a nice exit wound was the broad head bad or was it in good useable shape
The broadhead is still usable although the arrow is garbage. I'm not sure why it broke unless it was from the impact with the bone. It was an Easton axis HIT. They are pretty heavy durable arrows.

Talked with the owner of a local bow shop - last year his son shot a doe with a good clean shot and they never found her... he wasn't impressed. ...you can take that for whatever it's worth. I'm happy with my Killzone's...

I missed your update on this Mightymet. Put one heck of a hole in it! Curious how much draw weight you are using??
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
