well you can also try hunting the first cut corn fields, as turkeys are sure to hit them for the easy pickings after a fresh cut, but its a get in early deal for me, as the more open the area, the b etter they like to be able to eat, and with them eyeballs they have, best shit is getting in , in the dark
putting out some decoys, the more the better, and setting up, many times turkeys will come over to ee the new birds in town, thinking they found easy food
thanks I will probably pick up a few more decoys i only have 2 hens and a strutter and i usually get in early same with deer hunting
Bust them up if you can. The toughest part about fall turkey hunting is trying to get them to come it to the call since they are flocked up. I have had very little luck fall turkey hunting but it is still fun.

mainly going to do it when bowhunting deer so i guess it is the luck of the hunt
