    Coyote hunting from boat

I'm going coyote hunting for the first time tomorrow. My friend and I are going out on a creek on a 12ft boat. We will be on about a mile section. Hoping to call some to the water of find some getting a drink. I am new to this and I'm looking for advice or tips. Has anyone every tried hunting coyotes like this?

I have done it from a big lake, but its not easy, you stick out on the water and well, the boat rocks with waves making shooting not so easy either
I would maybe suggest drifting down some getting on shore in spots you can see inland pretty well, get comfy and blended in, keep the water at your back, so none can circle behind you!, but don't stick out like a sore thumb with open water behind you
and start calling give each spot 30-40 minutes and drift down some more and try again and so on
    Good luck
