Some great photos. That camera takes quality images. Hows the battery life on it?
Sorry guys, been so swamped with work and the kid's sports lately I haven't had time to get these out to you. Hope you enjoy! If you do please leave a comment!!

I may be opinionated...but, my opinion is the only one that matters anyway.
This camera I only put 8 AA batteries in (can hold up to 12) and it's been running non stop for over a month and batteries are still at 90-100%. I have 3 others with the 12 batteries in them, been out since March and as of 6/21 they are still running at 90-100%. The reason I say 90-100% is bec the battery meter says 9 and doesn't go to 10 LOL.

I agree cool pic's
I always wanted to put one of my cam's over the main creek here, but it comes from 10 inches to 6 ft on a pretty regular basic, and some times to about 8 ft deep, been too worried about flooding out a cam on me
yrs back I tried it in wonter, and my camera's lens was always foggy
Guess now is the time to be on a creek, as heat , makes them drink more I bet!
how much are one of those cameras looking to upgrade mine in near future probably august
The model I have is the Covert Red 40 2012 model. The new 2013 Red 40's have been upgraded to include HD video, which is an absolutely incredible feature. If you are able to view some of the footage they put out you will be surprised. Anyways, you can check out the cameras on the DLC Covert website for some pricing: https://www.covertscoutingcameras.com/
One of the better sites to buy Covert cameras from is www.wingsupply.com They often have the reduced rates and deals running for them. For a good starting camera I would recommend their MP6 model as you will get similar results as to what I am getting. They are on Wing Supply for $119.99 right now. The new 2013 Red 40 is $149.99 there and well worth the money in my book!
If you are on FaceBook you should check out Covert's page as they update it daily with new pictures and videos. Just do a search on DLC Covert Scouting Cameras. I know this sounds like an advertisement but I don't have anything vested in this. I have tried many cameras over the years and at this point the Covert line has been a big step above the others when it comes to picture quality and camera quality.

Great looking pics Chuck! as many pics of the doe and fawn your getting they have to be staying close. I agree on the Red 40, all I've heard is great things about them
no matter the language, everyone understands a punch in the mouth!
I know if one of my Bushnells or my WGI cameras die I will be looking into one of these cameras. Great photos at a meager cost.

Yeah they seem to be hanging around right there in the big-holla quite a bit. Very thick down through that bottom now and with a new brush hogged path it should help them navigate better.
I love them hortontoter, the quality is great as I have mentioned before. I did get a few washed out pics at this location though, not sure if it was the camera or just the location I had it. Every cam has it's ups and downs but in general I figure the pics I get off of these are far better than anything I have used in the past.
