HAHAH thats guys, beginning to think no one cares about seeing bear pic's
But it was just 6 degree's here last nite and he was in the yard for 3 hr cleaning out the bird feeders again
I do not think this bear is going to den up this winter, as he seems to really enjoy the snow
have some video clips but don't know how to post them??
or you would see what I mean
he's like a puppy in a first snow fall playing and rolling about in it
lots of folks near me feed birds and wildlife, so this guy has a ton of food even nopw in winter
so no real reason to den up!
the next 5-6 days are calling for highs of just 20 or so and single digits at nite, so if this doesn't get him in a den, nothing will I think!

I think the bear pics are awesome, Thanks! Any Ohio guys get bear pics this year? I know the dnr reports an increasing breeding population in the state, and the reported sightings seem to almost double every year. But i have yet to see one. I have seen some pics people have taken in the hocking hills area where i hunt of bears, but with all the time i spend in the woods there ive never caught a glimpse..

SLIDER0906 this bear is in PA, Not Ohio
but even here in PA where we have LOTS of bears
very few people really get to see them in the woods
bears are very very smart critters and have a nose much better than a deers
so 99% of the time a bear will avoid you long before you get close enough to see one
well Minus the one's l;ike this that learnd to feed out of bird feeders and the likes
but most WILD bears living off the land, and not peoples hand outs, will seldom be seen by people
so its not suprising that if bears are in your area , taht you do not see them, there a very nocturnal animal in areas with lots of people too! making it even harder for you to see while hunting deer and likes
