We at BowhuntingOhio.com would like to welcome each and every member and encourage all to participate in the forums. This site was created for those who share the same passion for the outdoors and hunting. The site is meant for people from all walks of life and people of all ages. We encourage debate, humor, opinions, information and personal knowledge/views but we ask that you keep the forums clean and tasteful.

Violations that will not be tolerated and may result in a warning, banned member (and IP address) for specified amount of days or even permanent member ban (and IP address), are as follows:

1. First and foremost, we at BowhuntingOhio.com ask that each every member respect all other members, their personal beliefs and opinions. It is understood that discussions can get extremely heated at times but we ask that you refrain from using racial slurs, name calling and vulgar language.

2. Any threads/posts created to insight an argument or showing/expressing hatred to any legal method of hunting will not be tolerated. We are in this together and if your opinion is that strong, this is not the place for you. If you are not sure if your thread/post will be viewed as this then you should not create it and contact a Staff Member first.

3. Threatening, Harassing and Abusive Language will not be tolerated. Think before you type as it may be the last thing you do on this forum.

4. Post content that contains slanderous, hateful or is in violation of any law.

5. Knowingly posting false or misleading information about someone or something.

6. WE DO NOT PROVIDE FREE ADVERTISEMENT HERE AT BOWHUNTINGOHIO.COM, we do allow you to put your website in your signature area provided it is hunting related only. If your site is found to be anything other than what we require you may be asked to remove it or possibly be banned from the site.

7. Absolutely NO SPAMMING!!! One cannot start a thread for the purpose of spamming.

8. If you are going to sell something in the classifieds we ask that you are made readily available to inquiring buyers. Please let us know when the item has sold or is no longer for sale so we can close the thread.

9. We ask that you keep you Avatars clean and tasteful..... no sexual, hateful or violent images or graphics.

10. When making a thread/post that is on a touchy subject, be sure to use the correct emoticon to ensure that your post/mood/intentions is understood correctly and not taken the wrong way.

11. If you need to talk to another member personally, please do so by using PM (Private Messaging) and do not use the threads.

12. Do not start threads notifying another member that he/she has a PM or email waiting.

If a post or thread that you made has been removed or edited by a moderator or staff member, you may contact either and ask for reasons for their actions and/or explain yourself or your stance. We understand that there are times when things may be posted where a "misunderstanding" can take place!!!

Please use PM to personally contact a moderator or staff member about any issues that you may have involving the site or another member...... DO NOT USE THE FORUMS!!!
