    Range finder question

I've got a Cabelas TDR range finder made by Bushnell. It maybe 4-5 years old Its very similar to the ARC 1000. Any way the battery was getting low. The other day it got wet and now will not turn on. I got a new battery and it turns on but doesnt go to normal screen. Is there a way to reset it? Or am i out of luck and gonna have to get a new 1?

well try contacting the company and see what suggestions they tell you
you can try putting in near a warm place , like a heater vent to help dry it real good, just NOT on top of a heat source, just close by
electronic's are funny things when they get wet!

    good luck
and last, if you only use for bow hnting a smaller one will work just as well, and now a days lots of decent one's out there on sale from time to time for under a 100 bucks too!

Take the batteries out and stick it in a bowl of rice overnight. If it just needs dried out that will do it.

The rice trick works. I have had to use it several times.

I agree with the above. TAKE the batteries out and let it dry completely. It should go back to normal. good luck.
