Some real nice bucks there mrbb!! Nice to see color night time pics too, get so used to the IR blur with a lot of cams these days.
yea, I like color pic's at night too, they sure make it a lot better to see what you captured thats for sure
Your right. My next camera will be a attack flash.
just remember the flash makes them stand out at night BIG time, and the light seems to help them grow legs!!
so lock it up as best you can
I highly recommend the bear box and a cable and 2 good 5 inch lag bolts, and a high end master loc
set up like this, so far its the only set up that has lasted this long at my place, where I have lots of crooks it seems about!
I'm going to build my own box out of 1/4" steel with a internal lock where the only thing showing is a key hole. I will bolt it to the tree with 4 lag bolts and a cable lock. I had the ir version grow legs and I'm hoping it will be the last time.
hahaha, I thought about beefing up the bear box myself, and have some what
problem becomes if you make it too solid, and they beat on it, it still screws up the dam camera's electronic's
had that happen before
they couldn't get it off, but from hitting it it stopped working, so didn't even gt a dam pic of the SOB!!
but word of advice too
I had a box made with just the key hole , and they broke something off in the dam key hole on me
ended up having to chain saw the tree down to get it off!( I have also had them chainsaw a tree down to get the camera too!!)
it still worked, but had to do a lot of work to save the camera! and get it to a place to drill out the lock!
some folks are just jerks I guess! !!
