Finally have time to post pics!

As some of you know, I shot this deer last thursday. My buddy and I had watched him chase does for four nights in a row in the same spot but couldn't get close enough to get a shot due to the wind. Finally, the wind was perfect, I snuck in and hung a stand and within 20 minutes I heard him stand up out of his bed. He walked right to me, 25 yard shot, hit him right in the liver, Not exactly what I was wanting but it worked out. I didn't find him until last Saturday. Definitely not my biggest but after hunting hard for 10 days while I was EXTREMELY sick, I'm very happy and fortunate to have killed him! Anyhow, here he is!Click image for larger version.

Good buck, congrats. I'd like to know how far he traveled also.
I may be opinionated...but, my opinion is the only one that matters anyway.

Thanks guys, he went about 250 yards, but he was in the thickest, nastiest thicket you've ever seen! you literally cannot get through it unless you're on a deer trail. I hunted all morning saturday and he was 50 yards from me and I didn't even realize it!
