Seen this 7pt about 8:30 this morning away out took him bout 45 mins to work his way to me. After watching him feed do a little rubbing and shaking the morning rain off he walked 23 yards in front of my stand broad side. With a baaah he stopped in his tracks and let the arrow fly. I climbed down and immediately my heart began to sink as I found not one drop of blood and couldn't find the arrow either. I was pretty confident in my shot, so I decided to walk back to a thicket I thought he may have headed for found him in front of the thicket bout 25 yards to the left of it which was 75 to 100 yards from where I shot him. Never hurts to have a little luck. After finding him I discovered only one of the blades on my mechanical opened later confirmed when I found the arrow. All in all feeling thankful for being able to get out and enjoy nature and that the good Lord allowed me to take such a beautiful animal.
