Greetings from NC! Heading to Ohio this fall for a week!

Hey guys, i've been browsing around here for a while, just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Steven, I'm 26, married with two little ones. I've lived in NC all my life. Love to bowhunt. Currently have 27 deer kills with my bow. 3 bucks & 24 does, all in NC. Nothing real big.

I'm heading up the first week of Nov to hunt public ground in the Guernsey and Noble county area. Not looking for does, but will shoot a decent buck. My borderline shooter will be in the 110-120 range because I've simply never killed one that big. I've been doing a lot of areal/topo map scouting and think I have a good game plan going with some 'off the wall' places. I'll just have to see when I actually put down the boot leather.

    Great site!

    Cheers,
    Steven

Good luck. You'll have plenty of company. 110-120 can be done. You might not want to shoot the first one you see. Again good luck

Drop in more often. First week of Nov. should be a good one. Good luck.
I may be opinionated...but, my opinion is the only one that matters anyway.

Steven, Your not along in heading north the first of Nov. either. I'll be heading that way on the 1st too. Will be my 5th year in a row and I cant wait. Will be hunting in Adams county. I tell you guys and gals that live in the great state of Ohio, I love your state.. Coming up this weekend to hang stands and scout. Hopefully have time to knock on a few doors, maybe try and find some land too. Again Thank you everyone that lives there, for allowing me to hunt your great whitetail state. Semper Fi, Shane

Thanks guys. Good deal shane. I've been scouting twice in the last few years, but never got up there to hunt. Good luck to everyone.
