seeing lots and lots of rubs in Marion County and have watched at least one mature buck making a new rub line. Haven't noticed any scrapes

I went on a walk last night back in the bean field were I found a scrape a few days ago and saw a small 6 point near the scrape feeding in the beans. I watched him for about ten minutes, he worked the scrape and stood on his hind legs to get as far up into the licking branch as possible. I brought my grunt tube and bow so I grunted to see what hed do. He stopped and looked and headed straight my way. I was crouched down in the beans, but he was to young to shoot. So i let him pass me at about 10 yards!!! What an incredible feeling. I think the pre ruts getting close!
