The only deer I had in range my only time out this year was a 1.5yr old fork horn. I had him broadside at 12yds for 10 minutes. He got the pass.

Forgot to mention I haven't stepped foot in my #1 area yet. Trying real hard to stay out of there for another 2 weeks.
Guess we don't have any folks who pattern their buck on food and kill him the first week. I know I sure don't do that either. Hoping a gnarly old boy comes apast me during the rut.
I have passed on 2 different 2 1/2 year old 8 points. I saw one brute but never had a shot on him. My time is coming!!!!!
