    Bottomed out

    Due to a shoulder injury im shooting my 55-70 lb Parker at 55. I hear its hard on a bow to shoot like this has anyone ever heard the same?

    I haven't heard that it's hard on the bow. I have heard that in order to get the best performance out of your bow you need to shoot at max poundage.

    I echo Gonehuntings' sentiments. The optimum performance of a bow is realized at the upper limits of its given poundage. You won't hurt you bow shooting at the lower limit of recommended poundage, but you will not get the maximum amount of energy and efficiency transfered into the arrow that you would at its upper limits of poundage. You can still kill plenty of deer though! Best of luck. KB
