    Shed hunting / Scouting

I just returned from a trip to WNF and surounding area. We spent 3 full days hiking some real tough terrain. First time there and learned alot. Found plenty of buck sign, and found a few places to hunt this fall. As far as sheds, with at least 20 miles under our belts we found NONE!!. Maybe we were looking in the wrong places? Here in NH most of the time we find them in soft wood growth because the evergreens don't let in as much snow. We looked in creek bottoms, benches, over grown cut offs, but no luck. Were in Ohio is the best place's to look? Just curious.

Oh Yah. All the guys we ran into were not scouting or shed hunting, they were mushroomers. What kind of mushrooms were they looking for?
