Finally found a rub yesterday on a scouting trip.
No scrapes yet.
I'm seeing deer every time in the stand
Anyone seeing any rubs or scrapes ?
Still too early?
Bring on those crisp Fall days.
I hate sitting in the woods sweating and covered with mosquitos.
I'm looking forward to the weekend.
I almost had to leave the woods last night.
My son and I spent two hours in my favorite Killbuck woods and we almost went crazy.
The mosquitos were insane.
I'm hoping for a heavy frost this...
The Wayne County mast crop is very heavy.
Acorns, beach, walnut.
I agree with the food source and travel routes. (water is too abundant where I hunt)
Rubs and scrapes are always nice to see as we edge toward Oct/Nov
I've done some heavy scouting over the last 30 days and I've seen a good number of scrapes but very few rubs.
What are you seeing ?
I'm hunting a new area this season (just moved to Wayne County)
I've been scouting off and on for the past two months but now I'm starting to get serious.
Shooting every night (compound and xbow)
I'm a new member and I'm brushing the dust off the bows since moving to Wayne County.
I've deer hunted Ohio, Michigan and West Virginia for 30+ years.
I've hunted mainly waterfowl for the past 10...
