I'm going to try and make it out a few times.

Go slow. Then slow down.Concentrate on antlers. If your mind drifts STOP. If you're not focused you will walk right by them.

I haven't even got started yet. Waiting for it to cool down. I did see a giant chasing does on Christmas eve.

The rut definitely slows down with warmer temperatures and the full moon this week will hurt things a bit too.

The full moon hasn't really hurt the movement here. The rain and clouds has kept everything normal.

Seems like the last couple weeks deer have been coming out of the ground or something. They are everywhere.

I check in nearly everyday.

I couldn't bring myself to pay to hunt whitetail. They are my favorite creature to hunt but they're not worth that much money to me.

I can relate to that.

That's about when the deer and turkey expo usually is.
