Is it possible someone is messing with your bait pile possibly putting soap or perfume or something else in the area to try and keep the deer out of your area and eve them for thereself ?

I agree with mrbb low pressure is key to daytime movement not the food source. I have 3 bait piles going now and only 1 of them are getting day pics this property is on the edge of the metro parks

4 1/2 years old and 140 inches I have not killed a buck since 2009 have let many great bucks walk that were to young. My standards are the same at end of season as it was on opening day

My daughter has this same gun we took it to 3 different gun smiths to get it drilled and taped to mount a scope to it and al 3 of them refused to do it they all said the barrel was to thin to drill...

ohiobuckhunter can you give us all some advice on where you find most of these? fields, hardwoods, creek bottoms,ext. ? i have only shed hunted a few times in my life with no luck.
