Muskingum County Rut?

Just hunted in ohio for my first time ever, muskingum county, the first day had a 5 pt chasing does all over but they obviously weren't in heat cuz once he got close to whichever doe he was chasing he stopped and walked away. Next day, unfortunately, missed a nice 10 pt at thirty yards, gave him a nice buzz cut, biggest deer i've drawn on, don't wanna talk about it haha (that is a gritting my teeth "haha" btw)

anywho sunday the same 5 pt came crashing thru chasing a doe and she started to enter the bedding area when he got close and smelled her and he stopped and she then walked away and he turned around and made a scrape and then a rub then a 7 pt came down 10 yds from him and he made a rub. I thought something may start up but they just started to feed and then walked off.

It's starting but definitely not in full swing, I hunt in Pa and will be back out in Ohio this weekend fri-sun, looks like it may be warm tho.

Anyone else seeing any good rutting action in muskingum?
