Ole School

The season is approaching. Who will be hunting with traditional gear this year.

Not me this year that's for sure!! Some day maybe.......

I probably won't be Trad hunting this year. I sold my Trad gear last year and was going to get a new, better recurve and the financial situation has not allowed that yet. Maybe next year.

my compound is pretty darn old... does that count for "Ole School"?

Im going to TRY old skool this year.

I have my bear grizz @ 54# or my Howatt @ 55# Recurves to try out.
I need to get my butt in the yard and start practicing though and darn quick!

But, If I dont feel comfortable with the recurves, I guess I can use my old school
Bear whitetail II like I did last year? ;)

Planning on using my Pearson Cougar recurve or my homemade longbow, got to practice up with both and see which I'm better with.
