Most virginia opossums you see with intact ears like this are young and have not gone through their first winter. The opossum's naked ears, nose, and tail are very susceptible to freezing temperatures.http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?d=yIl2AUoC8zA (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?a=pmdSe838m6E:jXPZnj-p2Is:yIl2AUoC8zA) http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?i=pmdSe838m6E:jXPZnj-p2Is:V_sGLiPBpWU (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?a=pmdSe838m6E:jXPZnj-p2Is:V_sGLiPBpWU) http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?d=qj6IDK7rITs (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?a=pmdSe838m6E:jXPZnj-p2Is:qj6IDK7rITs) http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?i=pmdSe838m6E:jXPZnj-p2Is:gIN9vFwOqvQ (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?a=pmdSe838m6E:jXPZnj-p2Is:gIN9vFwOqvQ)
