There are three species of swans that can be found in Ohio: The native trumpeter swan, tundra swan, and the mute swan. Unfortunately, the non-native mute swan will often out-compete with the threatened trumpeter swan on Lake Erie marshes and other locations for nesting habitat. See how you can quickly tell the difference between these three birds. Public lands owned and managed by the ODNR Division of Wildlife provide valuable habitat for many species of migratory birds that come through Ohio each year. These areas are paid for by proceeds from hunting and fishing license sales.http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?d=yIl2AUoC8zA (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?a=DLWKyaAvj-k:IpzJWxSfgRE:yIl2AUoC8zA) http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?i=DLWKyaAvj-k:IpzJWxSfgRE:V_sGLiPBpWU (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?a=DLWKyaAvj-k:IpzJWxSfgRE:V_sGLiPBpWU) http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?d=qj6IDK7rITs (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?a=DLWKyaAvj-k:IpzJWxSfgRE:qj6IDK7rITs) http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?i=DLWKyaAvj-k:IpzJWxSfgRE:gIN9vFwOqvQ (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/OdnrDivisionOfWildlife?a=DLWKyaAvj-k:IpzJWxSfgRE:gIN9vFwOqvQ)
