I hear they are heavier than standard knocks. But id like to try them.

I shoot easton traser nocks, and have for about 4 or 5 yrs now, they work great once you figure out where to place the magnet, fly the same as normal nocks
only draw back is you cannot replace the batteries
so typically I buy new one's every yr or two yrs if I shot them a lot
but I have killed several deer using them and even a few I left go over nite, and came back to find the nock still lighted up, I retire an arrow after I make a kill with it, so I have left them on to see how long they will stay and had them stay on for several days , which impressed me a lot, and why I stuck to them

I use them in my x bow too, Cabela's sells them pre installed on carbon bolts for the price almost of just regular bolts without them,
a win win deal, fly great and work great!
I do think once you switch you will be happy
I tried lumenocks, could never get them to work as they should, too picky on instalation in my eye's
I had luck with the G 5's, but think they stopped making them now, but they were nice when I used them!

well i like the nockturnals the swithc is actually in the middle of knock where the string is they fit great and dont turn on like the lumenocks when you bump them only downfall is that you have a small hole that you have to use a pin or something pointy to shut tham off not sure if you can replace the battery or not in them but cabelas sells them for 24 dollars for three so good deal

I just switched to to nockturnals from lumenocks but that was only because the lumenocks didn't fit my new Easton Injexion arrows. I'll put the lumenocks on my sons arrows. The lumenocks turn on and off easier but as 00buck said they can come on by just bumping them. I use a broadhead to shut off the nocturnals. Personally I don't think it makes much of a difference.
