I'm a new member and I'm brushing the dust off the bows since moving to Wayne County.
I've deer hunted Ohio, Michigan and West Virginia for 30+ years.

I've hunted mainly waterfowl for the past 10 years but recently moved to Wooster from Akron so I'm brushing the dust off the bows. I live about a mile from Killbuck and plan on bow hunting quite a bit this season.

Welcome to the forum.

I hunted waterfowl, crows, squirrels, groundhogs and doves at Killbuck for many years. I never deer hunted there. But I have seen some great deer there while hunting the other critters. Check the south side of Messner Road that is west of Prairie Lane Road. This area floods a lot on wet years, but on the drier years it can harbor a lot of deer. Quite thick in spots, but a ton of oaks in this area that draw the deer. Also a great place in the wet years for jump shooting woodies. If you need any info on Killbuck let me know. I know this place very well. I hunted waterfowl there for 27 straight seasons. I hung up the 1100 to hunt deer with a crossbow about 10 years ago and haven't hunted waterfowl since that time. If your in need of duck decoys or some steel shoot I have some to sell also PM me anytime.
